From Dragon Mania Legends Wiki
When first unlocked, each island is covered in obstacles that must be cleared. Each island has 3 different-sized obstacles. Each obstacle requires a certain amount of Gold and time in order to be cleared. Islands can only be purchased in the order in which they become available. When an island is available for purchase, a sign appears on the island and the Trainer can select it and press the button to buy it in the window that pops up.
Several gameplay elements can be found near and on some of the islands, including ruins that can be explored by using Dragons. Each ruin will cost a certain amount of Gold to be unlocked. Once the price is paid, it will then take a set amount of time for the unlocking process to be complete.

Visiting[edit | edit source]
Trainers have the option to visit each other's islands for mostly aesthetic reasons. During a visit, the Trainer can select most of the objects present on another Trainer's islands, but will not be able to interact with them. Selecting an object will bring up its name and, when applicable, its level. Trainers can also select Habitats and view the Codex Entry of the residing Dragons.
Also during a visit, depending on the privacy settings of the visited Trainer, the name of the visited Trainer, along with their current active badge, level, avatar, number of unique Dragons, DCL points and their VIP Level (if their VIP Status is active) will be shown. The visiting Trainer will then have the option to compare their Dragon collection to that of the visited Trainer or to check the profile of the Trainer. Trainers with an active VIP Status have a purple background while the others have a black background.
Lastly, in the top-right corner of the screen, a very long string of characters composed of numbers and letters can be seen, whose purpose is that of allowing Gameloft to better investigate that Trainer when needed, such as in the case of misbehavior of cheating.
- friend list
- list of members of their Clan
- list of rankings of events, Campaign Map, Dragon League, Enchantment League
- list of members of other Clans (this is done through the button instead of the usual one)
Timer Boost[edit | edit source]
Whenever a Trainer is visiting another Trainer, regardless if they are on each other's friend list or not, the option to reduce by 3 minutes the timer of an ongoing harvesting or by 5 minutes the timer of another building might be given. A building for which the timer can be reduced will have the atop it. The option to reduce timers is available only to the Breeding Dens, Hatchery, Farms, Dragon Academy, ruin exploration, building construction and upgrading and obstacle removing. Using this option will reward the visiting Trainer with Friendship Points.
If more than 1 egg is currently hatching in the Hatchery only the one with the lowest remaining time will benefit from the boost actions. Any time reduction that exceeds the remaining hatching time for this egg gets deducted from the next egg in hatching order. In opposit to this all farms benefit from the time reduction at the same time.
The amount of time boosters available for the current visited Trainer and the number of remaining Trainers for which time boosters can be used during the current day can both be seen in the top-left corner of the screen. The button next to this data can be selected to bring up more information about time boosters.
