The Sigil System, which unlocks when a Trainer reaches Player Level 20, is a structure whereby Trainers can perform certain tasks to obtain magic-infused battle add-ons known as Sigils. Through the use of Sigils, Trainers can enhance the strength of a Dragon fighting team and devise new combat strategies in addition to each Dragon's Elements and Dragon Academy skills.
The Sigil Tower is a Building that appears on a small Island just south of the Main Island. This tower houses the various features of the Sigil System. Tapping the tower opens the Sigil System menu, which can also be accessed from the main screen by pressing the button at the bottom-left. The island is not available for purchase and no dragons can be housed on it. After tapping the tower, the Sigil System screen appears providing a top banner and 4 buttons below it.
The top banner itself is not a button, but it does provide a place where Sigil Chests can be opened in exchange for Sigil Keys.

Above the sigil system components, the following buttons (not shown above) appear:
- All Sigils - Displays all sigils, organized by Schools.
- - A count appears beside this icon, of all Sigil Trinkets in inventory.
- - A count appears beside this icon, of all Sigil Keys in inventory.
The Sigil Tower awards 1 Sigil Key every day. Trainers must collect and save Sigil Keys until they have accumulated enough to open the Sigil Chest. When a Sigil Key is available for collection a notification is displayed over the Sigil Tower.
Sigil Chests contain Sigil Trinkets and Sigil Cards ( ) that award Sigils. Some Sigil Chests can be won and opened immediately, others can be earned by collecting sigil keys. There are two types of Sigil Chest, Basic and Premium. A Trainer can open a Basic Sigil Chest once 3 Sigil Keys are obtained. When the 3rd key is obtained the grey 3 Sigil Chest button turns green, indicating the chest can be opened by tapping the 3 button.

Sigil Trinkets earned by opening Sigil Chests are needed to fuse Sigils of a greater rarity as well as for changing or unequipping Sigils. Sigil Trinkets can also be earned by completing battles on the Sigil Campaign.
The Sigil Campaign button brings the Trainer to the Sigil Campaign battle venue that unlocks when they reach Player Level 20. Progressing on the map, the Trainer completes Sigil-equipped battles until they can no longer win battles, or they reach the end of the map and the monthly Reward of the Month Dragon is obtained.

The Equip Sigils Button brings the Trainer to the area where Dragons and Sigils can be selected for equipping. A Dragon is selected by the system by default when the Equip Sigils button is pressed. The dragon can be changed by pressing its card, which opens a selection menu displaying all Dragons owned that are elligible to have sigils equipped on them.
Sigils can be equipped in two ways, by tapping the large Equip Sigil button on the Sigil Tower screen followed by tapping the Equip Sigil button that appears on the next screen; or, by tapping a Dragon then pressing the i info button, pressing the Equip Sigil Equip Sigil button, and then selecting a Sigil to equip.
Sigils can only be equipped to Dragons of the same or lower rarity, so a Common-rarity dragon can only be equipped with Common Sigils, while a Legendary, Divine, or Ancient Dragon can be equipped all five rarity types. A Dragon can only carry a type of Sigil (for example, Wonder) once, it cannot be equipped with the same Sigil twice; however, a Sigil of the same kind can be equipped to different Dragons on the same team.
