“The Gold Vault allows you to collect all Gold with just a single tap, when your VIP membership is active.”
The Gold Vault is a building that allows Trainers to collect Gold from all of their Habitats simultaneously. It is unlocked when a Trainer reaches Level 6, regardless of VIP level, and can only be built if the Trainer's VIP membership is active. Furthermore, it can only be used while the VIP status is active. The Vault can not be stored in the inventory but, except during the cooldown period, it can be sold at any time in exchange for 6,250,000 Gold.
Construction[edit | edit source]
The Gold Vault has a size of 5x5 squares and can be purchased in exchange for 25,000,000 Gold. Building the vault takes 5 minutes and yields 1,000,000 when finished.
The Gem cost for skipping the construction time is calculated based upon the following formula:
(TimeInSeconds ^ -0.46) * 0.12 * TimeInSeconds The final result is rounded up by 1. For example, the cost to skip the initial construction time (5 minutes) is: (300 ^ -0.46) * 0.12 * 300 = 2.6. Rounding by 1 applies, thus the cost to skip the timer is 3 .
The construction time can also be reduced through forging Chronosian Seals or activating Chronos's power (actions which reduce several ongoing timers in the game by 6 hours) and through Timer Boosts (bonuses offered by visiting Trainers, which reduce certain individual timers by 5 minutes).
Collecting[edit | edit source]
Selecting the vault will display the button for its main function . This button will display the total amount of Gold that can currently be collected from the Habitats. The color of the amount will be yellow if there is even one Habitat that has not reached its maximum Gold-storing capacity, whereas the color will be green if all Habitats have reached their capacity.
Cooldown[edit | edit source]
After using the Gold Vault's function, there is a certain cooldown period that needs to pass before it can be used again. The measure of time depends on the Trainer's VIP Level. The cost to skip the cooldown time is always 10 Gems regardless of the VIP Level or the remaining time.
|VIP Level(s)||Levels 1-2||Levels 3-5||Levels 6-8||Levels 9-11||Levels 12-14||Levels 15-16||Levels 17-18||Level 19||Level 20|
|Cooldown||8 Hours||7 Hours & 30 Minutes||7 Hours||6 Hours||5 Hours||4 Hours||3 Hours||2 Hours||30 Minutes|
VIP Status Information[edit | edit source]
Apart from the option used to collect the Gold, selecting the Vault will also bring up the button. Pressing this button will display information about the current VIP Level and the Vault's cooldown period. When the Trainer's VIP Status is inactive, the button will also be shown upon selecting the Vault. Pressing this button will display a window with the Trainer's current VIP Level, the next VIP Level, and the benefits of each respective level. In the bottom-right corner of this window, the button is shown and pressing it will display three different lengths of time for which the VIP Status can be activated.
Moving[edit | edit source]
As long as it is not under construction, the Gold Vault can be moved to a different location by pressing down on the building and then dragging it to the new location or by pressing down on the building and then simply tapping the desired location. The Gold Vault is selected for moving when the and buttons appear underneath it. An arrow will appear on each side of the Gold Vault indicating if it can be placed in the new location or not. If the arrows are gray, the spot is not accessible, and if the arrows are green, the Gold Vault can be placed onto that spot. The repositioning is confirmed through the button while pressing the will cancel the moving and restore the default position of the Gold Vault.
