Totem of Friendship
From Dragon Mania Legends (DML) Wiki
The Totem of Friendship is located on the smaller island branching down off of the Main Island and is placed next to the Clan Fortress and Dragon League. The Friendship Totem allows Trainers to receive Friendship Points for each action completed interacting with other Trainers. Collecting enough Friendship Points will yield special rewards. The Totem is unlocked after beating Quest 2 (Mountain Trail). It does not need to be assembled or bought and can be upgraded to unlock better rewards.
Friendship Points[edit]
Friendship Points may be earned by performing various social interactions such as:
Using a friend's assisting Dragon in battle
Having a friend use the Trainer's assisting Dragon in battle
Helping friends open Rusty Gates
Helping friends upgrade their Totem
Tapping buildings with a boost timer icon atop them
Each action yields a different number of points. The number of points given varies depending on the level of the Trainer's Friendship Totem. Starting at Level 2, the number of Friendship Points per action received is multiplied by an additional x1 from the Level 1 Totem base stats.
Action | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Gifting a friend | 5 | 10 | 15 | 20 |
Helping a friend with a timer reduction | ||||
A Trainer's friend uses their Dragon | 20 | 40 | 60 | 80 |
Helping a friend open a Rusty Gate | 25 | 50 | 75 | 100 |
Helping a friend upgrade their Totem | ||||
Hiring a friend's Dragon | 50 | 100 | 150 | 200 |
Once an action has been completed, the points received are cumulative and unlock rewards when certain point totals are reached. Rewards consist of Gems, Gold, Food, VIP Tickets, Portal Gems, and Dragons. Progress toward rewards can be viewed through the option.
Rewards[edit]
The amount of Gold and Food received is the amount listed multiplied by the Level Modifier of the Trainer's current level. Leveling up after earning the Gold or Food will not reward the Trainer with extra resources.

Upgrading[edit]
Selecting the Totem and pressing the will bring up a window where the Trainer can see how many friends need to be asked for help in order to upgrade the building. Alternatively, the Trainer can choose to pay 5 Gems per friend instead of asking. Pressing the
button will take the Trainer to their friend list where each friend will have the
option in the right of their names and pressing it will send a request in their inbox. Once the conditions for upgrading have been met, the Totem may be upgraded by opening its interface then selecting the
button.
Each increase in level boosts the Friendship Point multiplier by 1. Level 4 is currently the maximum level for the Totem.
