Update 5.9

From Dragon Mania Legends Wiki

Release Date[edit]

  • 8 December 2020 - All Platforms

Noteworthy Changes[edit]

  • New & Improved Customer Care
With this update Gameloft is switching over to Helpshift, a third-party Customer Care service that will help to improve the assistance they provide to players. This also means a slight change to the in-game FAQ, which will be improved over the next couple of months.
  • Sigil Changes
New Sigil Reward Doubler, a special item that can be purchased to unlock twice the amount of rewards earned as one progresses through the campaign: this means double the Sigil Trinkets, double the Sigils from Sigil Chests and even two of the reward Dragon for completing the campaign!
Note: the Reward Doubler will only work within the Sigil Campaign, anything Sigil items collected outside of the mode will not be doubled.
Adjustments to the bonus buffs that Sigils add to a dragon were made:
- each Sigil will now also increase the damage dealt by the dragon it is equipped to, based on the rarity of the Sigil.
- Sigils will no longer have equal buff percentages, so one Sigil may have a larger Damage percentage boost than another.
  • Ruin Changes
- The Clan Quest that requires exploring a Ruin is now completed when starting an exploration, rather than having to finish one.
- Dragons will now still earn Gold in their habitat, even when they are out exploring.
- Each time a Shard is found all running timers on the Islands get decreased by 45 Minutes.
  • Breeding/Hatching Time Changes
Some breeding times have been adjusted to lower ones than before. These were the following:
- Salamander Dragon, 1h 10m / 1h 40m
- Tribal, Elephant, Harpy, Boiling + Ice Dragons, 1h 30m / 2h
- Snow, Cloud, Eel, Rain, Melon + Mud Dragons, 2h 30m / 3h
- Elemental, Clownfish, Agnes + Breeze Rock Dragons, 4h / 5h 30m
- Agave + Masque Dragons, 5h / 7h

New Features[edit]

  • New Cake Craze Event!
With this update a new event was introduced. This single-player variation of the Great Dragon Race will have players collecting ingredients, baking cakes and earning points to progress with milestones for sweet rewards.
  • 4x Speed!
Tapping the Speed-Up button will toggle through 1x, 2x and now 4x speed and, just like the current double speed function, choosing this new option increases the animations and attacks within all battles, including the Enchantment League.
  • Sigil Reward Doubler
New Sigil Reward Doubler, a special item that can be purchased to unlock twice the amount of rewards earned as one progresses through the campaign: this means double the Sigil Trinkets, double the Sigils from Sigil Chests and even two of the reward Dragon for completing the campaign!
Note: the Reward Doubler will only work within the Sigil Campaign, anything Sigil items collected outside of the mode will not be doubled.

New Dragons[edit]

The number of unique Dragons increased from 758 to 768.

Bug Fixes[edit]

  • If all the Chronosian Shards have been collected, Arya won't pop in to mention that there are some missing.
  • The Ruin auto-select feature will now properly select Dragons in your collection closest to the required level + rarity.
  • Searching in the Dragon Codex after selecting a Dragon will now no longer revert to a previous search.
  • Resolved the issue causing lost in-game avatars.
  • Sigil Campaign will now correctly display the Sigil Chest Tier level and how many Boss Battles are needed to level up.
