Bottomless Dungeon
From Dragon Mania Legends Wiki
The Bottomless Dungeon is a structure found on the northwest side of Tycoon Island (introduced in Update 4.6 to replace the Clockwork Dungeon). The Bottomless Dungeon is owned and run by Otto the Dungeon Master. This Dungeon allows Trainers to complete a series of tasks through battling an endless succession of opponents each week in order to obtain Stepping Stones. Stepping Stones are the currency that allows Trainers to progress through the Dungeon map and to open chests filled with various prizes. Each iteration of the Bottomless Dungeon lasts 6 days and 22 hours, starting each Monday at 9:00 UTC and ending on the following Monday at 7:00 UTC.

Accessing the Dungeon[edit | edit source]
The Bottomless Dungeon can be accessed directly, through the button on the bottom left-hand corner of either the Campaign Map screen or via the main (islands) screen by pressing the
button on the bottom-left side, then selecting the Bottomless Dungeon option. Players must reach player Level 16 in order to enter the Bottomless Dungeon.
Pressing the button will take the Trainer to the Dungeon foyer. Here the Trainer will see the (rounded) time left until the Dungeon resets in the top left corner, the ? and X buttons in the top right corner, and several window panes representing different features of the dungeon.
Dungeon Introduction/Tutorial Video[edit | edit source]
Dungeon Foyer[edit | edit source]
The Dungon foyer window functions as the Bottomless Dungeon's primary interface, it displays five different panes or sections for Trainers to use:
- Dungeon pane (top-left)
- Tasks pane (top-right)
- Dragon Brawl pane (bottom-right)
- Dungeon Shop pane (bottom-left)
- Fight Bonus pane (bottom-middle)
Dungeon[edit | edit source]
The Dungeon pane serves as an entrance to the currently active dungeon map. The current number of Stepping Stones the Trainer has earned is displayed at the top of the Dungeon pane and the Explore button at the bottom of the pane can be pressed to enter the Dungeon Map.
Dungeon Maps[edit | edit source]
The Dungeon Map screen displays the time left until the Dungeon resets as well as the current number of Stepping Stones and Dungeon Tokens the Trainer has. Trainers move along the Dungeon Map main path, which eventually leads to a bottomless pink chest, and has various side paths along the way providing smaller rewards chests. The final chest is referred to as bottomless because it can be opened as many times as a trainer can afford before the weekly Dungeon timer runs out and the map and opponents are reset. The cost of moving about the map requires Stepping Stones and will become more expensive the further the Trainer progresses on the map.

Chests[edit | edit source]
As Trainers progress through the Dungeon map, four kinds of chests can be found and opened in exchange for the indicated number of Stepping Stones indicated upon reaching them. The value of the rewards contained within a chest depends upon the size of the chest opened and will increase with the size of the chest. Small red chests, medium green chests, and large blue chests can each be opened only once. The pink chest, found at the end of the map, is the most valuable chest and can be opened unlimited times. Opening the pink chest a certain number of times (number of times varies with each iteration) will award the Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon.
All chests contain 3 random items, the Trainer can only choose one. The chests mainly contain Dungeon Tokens as one of the options while the other two choices vary to include time-limited Dragons, Stepping Stones, and other valuable rewards. The Dragon rewards coming from chests change on a weekly basis.

Stepping Stones should be spent before the end of the weekly iteration, as they do not roll over from one event to the next. Any remaining Stepping Stones will be automatically exchanged for Dungeon Tokens at the end of the event. The Dungeon Tokens, on the other hand, remain in the possession of the Trainer.
Occasionally, there are special prizes offered in addition to the Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon (such as Divine Event tickets, Ancient Event tickets, or Dragon Pieces).
See Bottomless Dungeon Guaranteed Dragon for more information.
Tasks[edit | edit source]
The tasks pane displays the Trainers active tasks along with the number of Stepping Stones to be awarded for the completion of each task. During a Brawl, the tasks pane can be brought up by pressing the
Tasks button in the lower right-hand side of the screen. There are 3 difficulties for the Tasks that are assigned randomly throughout the Brawl. The progress made on tasks will not reset at the end of each Brawl but carry over to the next one. The Stepping Stones awarded from these tasks can be used to move about the Dungeon Map.
The task Defeat Next Dragon is always present and active, whereas the other tasks change randomly.

Dragon Brawl[edit | edit source]
“Earn Stepping Stones in Infinite Dragon Brawls by defeating opponent dragons and completing combat challenges.”
The goal of the Dragon Brawl is to keep fighting for as long as possible to collect as many Stepping Stones as possible. Stepping Stones are awarded after each defeat of an opposing Dragon and after completing combat challenges (the more Dragons that are defeated, the more Stepping Stones will be rewarded). The points for a KO get multiplied ranging from 1 to 3, depending on the level of the Dragon participating in the defeat.
In a Dragon Brawl, the Trainer will face endless waves of opponent dragons, thus in opposition to the other fights in Dragolandia a Brawl cannot be won. The Trainer's 9 strongest dragons (up to 12, depending on VIP Level) are automatically selected for their Dungeon Fighter team while the opponent has an endless supply of Dragons. Once battle ensues, any opposing Dragons that are defeated will immediately be replaced by a stronger Dragon. There is no cap to the level of opposing Dragons. Therefore, the power level of opponent dragons scale from the power level of the Trainer's weakest Dragons to the strongest ones and can continue to rise beyond that, until the Trainer can go no further. When a battling Dragon on the Trainer's team is defeated, it can be replaced immediately with any remaining Dragon from the Trainer's Dungeon Fighter team. The Trainer can select their Dragons in any order they wish. The battle will continue until all of the Trainer's Dragons have been defeated or the Trainer decides to end the battle. During the Brawl, the Trainer can complete the Brawl Tasks for additional Stepping Stones, which continue in the next Brawl without a reset.
The Brawl can be paused and left at any time by clicking II Leave Battle, where the Trainer can choose on the dialog between Leave and
continue later (allowing the Brawl to be paused and then resumed at a later time), or Restart Brawl (ending the Brawl).
Once a Dragon Brawl is ended, a new one can be started after waiting for the allotted cooldown period. The wait times between Dragon Brawl restarts is 15 minutes after the first Brawl, 1 hour after the second and 3 hours after the third, finishing with 6 hours wait for every Brawl after that. All Dragons will be fully healed and the power levels of the opposing Dragons will reset at each restart.
Opponent Pools[edit | edit source]
There are 8 pools of Dragons from which the opponents are taken. The Brawl starts with the first 3 Dragons and any defeated opponents get replaces in order of the list. The pool iterates each week.

Fight Bonus[edit | edit source]
Every time an opponent Dragon is knocked out the Knock Out Meter is increased. Reaching KO Milestones is rewarded with Health Boost
and Damage Boost
Fight Bonuses. These come into action when the next Brawl is started and get applied to all the Trainer's dragons.
Dungeon Shop[edit | edit source]
The Dungeon Shop contains Dragons, Decorations, and Special Offers that can be purchased with Yellow Dungeon Tokens. Regular Dungeon Dragons can only be bought after their highest Element has been unlocked.

Special Offers[edit | edit source]
Special offers often includes items such as Sigil Chests, Relics, Card Dragon pieces, Portal Gems, Gold, limited-time Decorations, and certain Dragons.
Dragons that may be purchased outright in the Bottomless Dungeon are typically Limited-Time Dragons that are otherwise winnable in events or occasionally purchasable in the regular Shop; however, there are a few dragons available only in the Special Offer section of the Bottomless Dungeon only.
Special Offer-Only Dragons[edit | edit source]
The following Dragons are available only occasionally in the Special Offers section of the Bottomless Dungeon when featured. Each Dragon was formerly available only via the now-retired and replaced Clockwork Dungeon.
