The event took place during the Divine Fest - Red & Green Divine event series. Cake Craze is a single-player version of The Great Dragon Race, in which Trainers complete quests to earn recipe Ingredients. Ingredients are required "bake" a specific recipe, over a set time frame, which then awards points towards milestone rewards. Cake Craze runs for 7 days and typically begins at 12:00 UTC.

Mechanics

Three recipes are available at once, all three can be made concurrently if enough ingredients are possessed. There is no limit on the number of recipes made to earn points.

Quests

For the event duration, 5 Clan Quests are offered, each awarding 1-3 of a single Ingredient. Ingredient types are drawn randomly, no ingredient type is tied to a particular quest type. Quests with undesired ingredients (or tasks) can be trashed by pressing the button with a 6-hour refresh time, or immediately by pressing the Skip button and paying the requisite Gems cost. Completed quest ingredients must be claimed by pressing the Claim button. A new quest becomes available after a 6-hour waiting period unless skipped using Gems, and the upcoming ingredient for the next quest is previewed.

Ingredients

Each Ingredient has a Rarity indicated its background and rarity letter. Rarity influences how often ingredients appear, determining their obtainment difficulty. Ingredients of the same rarity have the same probability of appearing, though their distribution is random, and since there are few ingredients there are high odds of repeats.

Viewing Collected Ingredients

Ingredients collected held in, are displayed by pressing, the My Ingredients button on the event screen. A popup appears, displaying ingredients sorted by rarity, and showing the count of each. Closing the ingredients popup, is done by pressing anywhere outside the popup itself.

Recipes

Each recipe also has a rarity, is drawn at random, and its difficulty and points awarded increase as rarity increases. Once enough Ingredients are obtained, pressing the  Bake  button commences preparation, which takes 6 hours. Undesired recipes can also be trashed with a 6-hour wait time, or immediately by pressing the Skip button and paying the requisite Gems. Missing ingredients are purchasable for 25 - 40 Gems, depending on their rarity.

Requirements

All recipes require three Ingredients, the first two are fixed according to Rarity, the third is a random ingredient of the same or a neighboring rarity.

Scoring

To receive points for a recipe and start another, the  Claim  button must be pressed. Once pressed, the recipe points are awarded along with the corresponding milestone progress.

Milestone Progress Rewards

A progress bar 80% displays the percentage of points needed to reach the next milestone, which intermittently rotates to the display of the grand prize Dragon at the final milestone. When the grand prize Dragon displays, pressing the i button opens the Dragon's Codex Entry, otherwise pressing either display opens the full milestone rewards, showing all milestones.

Each milestone provides different rewards, must be manually claimed, is available to claim when having a green background, they turn gray once collected.
