| An eating machine, the Caterpillar Dragon likes to gobble up all the fruit when no one is looking. If the other dragons get angry, it will run to its best friend the Ant Dragon for protection. |

Description
The Body Shape of the Caterpillar Dragon is Finned. Its bright green body is segmented like a caterpillar's, with a light purple underbelly. The back of its head is ridged, as if it is wearing a hood, with a dark yellow coloring. A pair of curving antennae alternating between black and white emerge from the "hood" and are tipped with red. A pair of conical, dark purple horns also protrude from the hood. Its yellow eyes are thickly outlined in black, while the mouth reveals à red tongue. Its back is partly colored black, with a yellow edge and a line of seven purple circles in the edge. The green flippers show a black stripe across them, along with a matching tip with another purple tip in it.

Obtaining
The Caterpillar Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.
Once the Caterpillar Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the 
Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,888 
Gems.
Breeding 
for this Dragon takes 20 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 1 day, 2 hours and 40 minutes. With an active 
VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 16 hours while the hatching time is reduced to 21 hours and 20 minutes.
Limited Breeding
During the time the Caterpillar Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.
