The event took place during the Divine Fest - Red & Green Divine event series.

Castle Events Events are limited-time competitions in which each Trainer participates individually. The goal is to progress through the different levels of the Castle (collecting all the pieces for the bonus limited Card-Segment Dragon along the way) and obtain the grand prize Limited-Time Dragon.

Requirements

Trainers must perform various tasks to earn in order to navigate through each map level as each tile movement will cost a number of Red Jewels. There is a certain limited amount of Red Jewels that can be earned within a 6-hour period per task. The limit starts at 200 and increases by rising values after the next reset, every time a level is completed (the key has been found), starting with Level 3, but maxing to 650, totaling up to 3,900 per pool. Each tile step will reward the Trainer with either Food, Gold, or Scrolls. The amount of Food and Gold rewarded depends on the Level Modifier. The total blue tile Red Jewel cost of a level is distributed among the different paths inside it. Battles can be fought normally with no cost or can be won instantly in exchange for a certain cost. If a battle is lost, the Trainer can purchase the instant win or wait 30 minutes before they can attempt the battle again.

Each level contains a number of chests and one of the chests will hold a while the remaining chests will each hold a Dragon Piece. The position of the key is random and can be obtained from any chest. Once a key is obtained, the Trainer can advance to the next level without having to open other chests. Opening all of the chests is necessary to obtain the Pangu Dragon, but not to advance to a new level.

Red Jewels obtained from food-collecting tasks are awarded upon collecting the Food and not planting it, whereas Red Jewels acquired from breeding tasks are awarded upon selecting the Breed button inside the Breeding Den and not upon moving an egg to the Hatchery.

If the Porcelain Dragon scratching at our door is any indication, I think we may be getting summoned somewhere! Great... Wh-where are we...? If I'm not mistaken, perhaps this is a habitat of the Eastern Divines -- but it's not one I've ever seen! Heh, the Porcelain Dragon keeps giving us a sly sort of look. I think it wants us to follow it! (I've brought you three here at the behest of the Eastern Divines. They seem quite fond of you -- but first, a test!) Oh-ho, it's looking at us quite intently! I bet it wants to battle! Somehow, you're always right. (Good show! Your invitation to the Divine Party has officially been accepted.) (I will be your guide. Everydragon knows Humans can't be trusted by their lonesome!) Well, thanks for the battle, Porcelain Dragon. But I'm still not sure what we're doing here...? Um, well, apparently there's a party! It sure is pretty here -- but it feels sort of otherworldly. Like we're not on Earth. A perfect place to take a breather from our earthly responsibilities, I suppose! It's weird not to feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders when Divines are involved! (Come now! Enough dawdling! We must pay our respects to our hosts!) Wowww, what a fantastic grand hall! And look at all the dragons wandering around! (Welcome, welcome! Say, you Humans must be important if you've been invited to our little party.) O-oh, not really... I didn't think I'd get to see you again after our run-in with the Chronosian Divines! (How about we celebrate our reunion with a battle? This is a party after all!) I don't recognize you from my adventures on the Island of New Beginnings... (I am a distant cousin of the Eastern Divines, visiting my kin for their Divine Party...) (Parties aren't quite my scene... But I suppose it's customary to engage in celebratory battles.) I think we'll understand each other just fine, even if I can't hear what you're saying behind those fierce eyes! (Hm! I thank you, Humans -- that was a rousing fight indeed.) (It can be difficult fitting into settings like this, especially when you come from afar... or you are different species.) So parties can be difficult for dragons, too...? (Of course! Parties are battlegrounds -- arenas where the strong must prove themselves!) (Ahem.) Arya, are my eyes deceiving me? Has Ned been CONVERSING with dragons? Not long ago he'd burst into tears at the very thought of being surrounded by Divine Dragons like this... W-well, erm, maybe the party atmosphere has made him brave? Oh, please. He's my son, not a party animal! Hold my punch; I'm going to follow him to the next room... What an amazing room... It looks like somewhere Eliza and I discovered in the-- WHOA! A-an arrow just shot right by my face! (Please be careful. It appears Hou Yi is doing target practice.) Dragon parties sure are something else... Hmm, this dragon certainly looks cross. I wonder what's soured its mood -- especially during a party! (Grr! Chang'e won't talk to me! That silly fool; I simply decided to enjoy some time alone...) (Perhaps I'll go let Hou Yi know. A party must make room for all sorts of enjoyment, after all.) I guess we may have helped them patch things up, right, Nezha Dragon...? Ned! There you are! Please, answer me this-- I-I don't have to tell you EVERYTHING, Dad! Just leave me alone for a second! (A-are you sure you want to speak to your Master that way, Ned Human? We're supposed to be having fun...) Well... I could say the same thing to you! But you want to prove something to your Master, right? Let's go find them... It's a way different vibe up here. I see dragons milling around, looking regal and refined... (I know my Master will be in this room, looking regal and refined along with the others.) Let's keep an eye out for him, then! We'll get him to see how strong you've become! (You're very intent on helping me, Ned Human... I'm a little taken aback, but I'm thankful, too!) (There you are, Master! I apologize for wandering around idly when I could've been--) (Woo-hoo!!! Par-tay!!! What's that, my student? You look so glum!) (Huh? But...) (That sullen face of yours isn't going to allow for any fun. How about a battle to get the good times rolling?) (Master, I'm confused... I thought you wouldn't approve of my slacking off and partying and...) (My student, to party is not to slack off! To party is a very important part of life. I know I've been acting weird; I just didn't know how to tell you... I... I can understand what dragons are saying, and they can understand me too. It's been like this for a few months now! N-now, THAT'S a party-stopper! Come, Ned; let's grab a treat, and you can tell me ALL about it!
