Dragon Fury

From Dragon Mania Legends (DML) Wiki

Dragon Fury Essence Bar.png

Dragon Fury is a special battle attack that deals higher damage to opposing Dragons. Fury is earned after achieving a certain number of Perfect Hits during battle, each of which fills its meter, preparing fury for use. Dragon Fury can be used in any battle involving Dragons.

Charging

Refill Dragon Fury.png

Before use, the Dragon Fury meter must be fully charged. There are 7 slots for charging, which requires 7 Perfect Hits to fill. Perfect hits are hits that land in the green section of the attack strength bar, each awarding one Dragon Fury point.

Alternatively, Dragon Fury can be filled instantly in exchange for Gems Icon.png Gems, or by using 1 Dragon Fury Essence Icon.png Dragon Fury Essence. The Dragon Fury Gems cost slowly lowers as the bar charges. When the meter is full, in addition to the slots being filled, its Use button glows, indicating it is ready for use.

Using Dragon Fury

Dragon Fury Bar.png

Pressing the Use button unleashes Dragon Fury fight mode, and the Trainer has approximately 5 seconds to use it before it runs out. There are two ways to perform hits in fury mode, by swiping or by repeatedly tapping enemy Dragons.

When unleashed, Dragon Fury awards 2,000 points to the overall battle score, and can be used twice for a maximum of 4,000 additional points.

A hit counter appears during the attack showing hit progress, then displaying the total number of hits at the end. A one-word "description" is also shown on the final screen, depending on hit number. The description cool is given if the number is between 1 and 14, superb is given for between 15 and 29 hits, and unbelievable is given for 30 or more hits.

Damage

The damage dealt is based on the Trainer's Dragons, and multiplies the sum of all Dragons' Base Attack Icon.png Attack by two. If a Dragon is defeated before the Trainer activates Dragon Fury, its base attack is still added to the Dragon Fury. The amount of damage can be approximated from the Base Attacks of all the Trainer's attacking dragons using the following formula:
Dragon Fury Attack = 2 * Sum of Attack Power * (MIN(55,Number of hits)/55)^0.7.

Maximum Damage

At least 55 hits are required to achieve maximum damage, more hits do not do more damage. Dragon Fury is usable only once per turn, but there is no limit to the times used during a fight.

If the Trainer uses Dragon Fury against multiple opponents, the total damage is split between the opposing Dragons according to the percentage of hits the Dragon took (see Example 3 and Example 4).
