The Dragon Vault is a building used to store inactive Dragons, so they don't take up Habitat space. The building unlocks when the Trainer reaches Player Level 10, has a size of 6x6 squares, and must be purchased in exchange for 25,000,000 Gold. The vault is built instantly, yields no experience, and cannot be upgraded or sold.
Building Functions[edit source | edit]
The following function buttons appear when the building is selected:
– Store Dragon, for moving Dragons into the vault for storage.
– Inventory, for moving the Vault to the Inventory (appears if vault is empty).
Storing Dragons[edit source | edit]
Dragons are stored in the vault either from their Codex Entry or by selecting the building, pressing button, followed by the Select button, and then selecting the snapshot of a housed Dragon to store.
Before selection, search can be used to search by Dragon species, or to filter by Element and pressing the i button on any Dragon's snapshot opens their Codex entry. Dragons busy doing actions such breeding, exploring ruins, having Elements awoken, skill-training, or processes in the Fountain of Youth cannot be stored until available.
Stored Dragons become semi-inactive, they do not generate Gold or participate in other features; however, where applicable, they count when calculating the strength of opposing Dragons in any battle venue. Additionally, stored Dragons can be hired by friends of the Trainer, they can be ascended, and also count towards quests or tasks that require a minimum number of Dragons.
Capacity[edit source | edit]
The Vault can have up to one hundred slots. Purchasing slots is done individually by scrolling to a new slot marked "GET A NEW SLOT", then pressing the green (cost) button underneath it. Purchase is instant, requiring no confirmation.
The first slot is free, the next nine slots cost 5,000, 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, 500,000, 1,000,000, 5,000,000, 10,000,000, and 50,000,000, respectively. After purchasing the tenth slot, each subsequent slot costs 100,000,000 Gold. The total required to purchase all slots is 9,066,665,000 .
The number of Dragons currently stored in the Vault and the current capacity of the Vault are shown at the bottom of the Vault, separated by a slash.
Selling Dragons from Storage[edit source | edit]
Selling Dragons from the vault is done by selecting the building, pressing the option, then pressing the i button on the desired Dragon to sell; this opens the Dragon's profile where the More Options button must be pressed, and finally the Sell button must be pressed to sell the Dragon.
Inventory[edit source | edit]
As long as there are no Dragons inside, the vault can be stored in Inventory by selecting it, then tapping the
button. The option to store it doesn't appear until the vault is emptied of Dragons.
Selling[edit source | edit]
Once purchased, the vault cannot be sold.
Moving[edit source | edit]
A single object is moved by pressing and holding it until move options activate, indicated by X
buttons below it and colored move arrows on each side. Green move arrows indicate sufficient placeable space, grey arrows indicate not enough. Moved the object by dragging, tapping the move arrows, or tapping the destination, then pressing
. A moved is cancelled by pressing X.
To move multiple objects at once, with move options activated as above, press . Once enabled, moving and/or swapping instructions appear:
- Select one or more objects to move them at the same time.
- Swap two objects by selecting them and tapping
.
- Store multiple objects in inventory by selecting them and tapping
(eligible buildings/objects only).
Dragging or tapping does not move objects in Edit Mode, the initial state is selection-only; instead, tapping the button enables dragging or tapping, the base of all objects turn green or grey indicating if there's enough placeable space to move the items to as a unit.
