Description

The Body Shape of the Kelp Dragon is Finned. The Kelp Dragon's body is blue with a yellow underbelly. On the head, it has a piece of green kelp hanging down its back, and two yellow horns on the side of the head. The horns are conical shaped, the top ones being slightly larger than the lower ones. Next to each horn on the left, there are two dark yellow patches. It has large, lime green eyes situated quite close to the top of its head. The Kelp's mouth is shaped like a wave that curves up into a smile at the end. The chin is bumpy and irregular. On the back of the Kelp Dragon, it has lines of kelp that take over half of the body. The underbelly stretches shortly past the back flippers. Each flipper has two yellow claws and a patch of dark yellow - the same color as the patch on the head. The back flippers lack these claws. On the end of the tail, there are three pieces of long kelp that cover the whole tail.

Obtaining

The Kelp Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.

Once the Kelp Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,811 Gems Icon.png Gems.

Breeding for this Dragon takes 22 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 1 day, 4 hours and 40 minutes. With an active VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 17 hours and 36 minutes while the hatching time is reduced to 22 hours and 56 minutes.

Limited Breeding

During the time the Kelp Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.

Tokens

If a Breeding Token is made available for this Dragon, it is activated instantly upon being received, after which the Dragon can be obtained through the breeding of two Dragons having together the Shadow, Plant and Water Elements. This method requires the Trainer to have reached Level 44.

Shadow + Plant + Water

Available Combination(s)
