| Fascinated by the glowing lantern on its tail, the Kongming Dragon likes to chase it in circles to try and get a better look. This trainer's encouraged it to do that OUTSIDE the house, but it hasn't yet seen the light. |

Description
The Body Shape of the Kongming Dragon is Saurian. It has a red body with a plated, yellow underbelly. Two yellow horns with a "branch" on each of them jut out of its head, the larger curving softly forward at the tips and the smaller curving backward. It has layered yellow eyebrows and a small gilded plate of the same color on its forehead. Its lower jaw forms a red goatee while the upper jaw, which has two small, white fangs sprouting from them, and is topped by a yellow, wavy "mustache". Seven white spikes sprout from behind the Dragon's head, framing its face. Its red, plated wings have two small white claws on each apex, and their membranes are feather-like and yellow. Red plates appear along the neck and spine, with small yellow spikes emerging above them. The tail ends with a red, glowing, and spherical paper lantern, framed by yellow supports. Its white-fringed feet have three yellow claws on each.

Obtaining
The Kongming Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.
Once the Kongming Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,988 
Gems.
Breeding for this Dragon takes 1 day and 2 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 1 day and 9 hours. With an active VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 20 hours and 48 minutes while the hatching time is reduced to 1 day, 2 hours and 24 minutes.
Limited Breeding
During the time the Kongming Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.
Tokens
If a Breeding Token is made available for this Dragon, it is activated instantly upon being received, after which the Dragon can be obtained through the breeding of two Dragons having together the Light, Shadow and Fire Elements. This method requires the Trainer to have reached Level 44.
