Description
The Body Shape of the Pitaya Dragon is Reptilian. Overlapping layers of jagged green leaves, which vaguely resemble the leafy spikes on a pitaya, cover its body, arms, legs, and tail. It has a crimson red body that fades to plum purple at its hind flippers and tail with a light pink underbelly. Its head has a yellow muzzle, an orange forehead, and a mane of yellowish-green leaves. A red antenna extends from its brow, which gradually fades to bright pink at its tip. It has dark pink eyes, a cyan stripe underneath its eye, and three dark pink spots speckled over the eye stripe. Its forelimbs have a single large yellowish-green nail each, while its hind flippers lack nails and have dull pink soles.

Obtaining
The Pitaya Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.
Once the Pitaya Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,788 
Gems.
Breeding for this Dragon takes 22 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 1 day, 4 hours and 40 minutes. With an active VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 17 hours and 36 minutes while the hatching time is reduced to 22 hours and 56 minutes.
Limited Breeding
During the time the Pitaya Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.
