Hot Coals
"Defeating primary target damages all other opponents again by 85% primary target's DAS" This is not correct. I don't know the exact value, but I think it is something like 25% of the secondary strike: 25% of 85% primary target DAS affected by element resistance. --Silbaer (talk) 08:01, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

- Here is a screenshot: The mid dragon is hit by explosive results. Damage 29,390.404. The other dragons take 85% of that: upper a normal hit (24.981.844) an the lower affected by element the half (12.490.922). But than the second "Hot Coals" hit: Only 1.810.445 damage. - So we received a reply and they said that our information is correct and that they haven't touched the configuration for skills "in ages". They've looked at the screenshot and they believe that there might be an overlap of skills. So, yeah, I guess the article is accurate. │Star-Warden│ 16:29, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, tell me if I understand the skill right: The primary target gets 29,390.404 damage (normal attack). All other drangons get 85% of this affected by element (24.981.844 normal / 12.490.922 week) and the trained secondary effect occurs: additional 85% DAS affected by element (24.981.844 normal / 12.490.922 week) if I kill the primary target. - Thank you for allowing us to address this. Perhaps I can clear up the issue. The BEST result of the Level 6 Explosive Results will deal 100% of the caster's Dragon's Attack Strength (DAS) to the primary target and 85% caster's DAS to all secondary targets. IF the primary target is defeated it will cause a secondary effect of Hot Coals, which will deal additional damage of 85% of the primary target's DAS (not the caster's DAS). Furthermore, these amounts are reduced by Element Resistance.
- So, if I am understanding your question correctly, your issue is the damage given to the Cupid Dragon of 12.490.922/1.810.445 instead of 12.490.922/12.490.922. However, it could not possibly be 12.490.922/12.490.922 as the secondary effect, as I mentioned above, is based on 85% of the primary target's DAS (not the caster's DAS), which in this case must have been significantly lower than the caster's. Therefore, if I am reading the image correctly, the primary target received the 29,390.404 caster's DAS damage for a killing blow, the second Dragon received the 24.981.844 caster's DAS for a killing blow and the Cupid Dragon received the weakest attack of 12.490.922 (caster's DAS minus Element Resistance) plus 85% of the primary target's DAS minus Element Resistance factor for 1.810.445. Interaction with Witchcraft
I wanted to add an information about interaction with Witchcraft sigil, namely that Hot coals variant of Fire skill (both primary and secondary effects) does not seem to be affected by Witchcraft. When I open a page to edit it, I only see a few lines with templates, but no content. Am I doing something wrong, or does the content reside someplace else and is only included here somehow? --AneeDee (talk) 07:17, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- It is already on Individual Sigil Powers that witchcraft doesn't work with Hot coals. If you look on the "Equip on" column it says only "(fire Slow Burn)". We don't put sigil information in places other than the sigil page itself. | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / Email) 20:41, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
