Game Start Tutorial

Welcome! It's a good thing you're here—we're in need of Dragon Trainers. Let me show you around! Check it out! This dragon egg is about to hatch! (Select the Hatchery) Tap repeatedly or swipe the egg to crack it open. It's so exciting! (Tap the egg to open it) (Place the Fire Dragon) Aww, hey there little one... Wow, congrats on hatching your first dragon! Now it needs a place to spread its wings. This little Fire Dragon looks really happy in its new Habitat. Let's go say hello! (Visit the Dragon in its Fire Habitat) (Pet the Dragon) Let's feed it with juicy fruit to make it stronger! (Feed the Dragon to level 4) Now, let's build a new Habitat so we can house more dragons! (press store button, 500 gold for wind habitat). Hold and drag or tap on the screen to move the object. Press on the green icon to confirm placement! (Place the Wind Habitat) (Tap the Wind Habitat to complete the building process) Whoa, feel that wind blowing? This is the PERFECT spot for a Wind Dragon... (Select the Hatchery) (Press the buy egg button) (Purchase a Wind Dragon) (Hatch Wind Dragon egg) Remember—dragons can only be placed in a Habitat that matches one of their Elements. (place the Wind Dragon, in the Wind Habitat) Dragons eat a LOT, and they level up when fed! Let's go grow some food for these hungry beasties. (Open the Main Shop) (Buy a Farm) (Place the farm) Farms are where Dragon Trainers can grow food for their dragons. You should keep those farms busy at all times! (Select the farm) (Press the grow food button) (Plant Spiky Cherry) (Tap the food notification when the food is finished) Nice! This food is enough to raise the Wind Dragon up a few levels! (Select the Wind Habitat) (Press the feed button and feed the Dragon to level 4) You're doing great, Trainer! From now on, it's gonna be easier to follow our Quest list! (Press the Quests button to open quests) (Press the Go button on the Breed a Wind Dragon with a Fire Dragon quest) (Select the Breeding Den to open its interface) Combine the Elements of 2 dragons, and their hatchling will be a new dragon based on those Elements. Time to breed! (Select the Fire Dragon, then the Wind Dragon, and press the Breed button) (Press the Breeding Den notification to move the egg to the Hatchery) (Claim the quest rewards) See that mystic Portal over there? Time to slip through it to earn more Gold and food! Follow your Quest. (Press the Quests button) (Press the Go button for the Explore the other side of the Portal! quest) (Select the Ancient Portal, which opens to the first Normal Mode Campaign Quest) These islands are filled with treasure and adventure. I believe your dragons are ready to FIGHT for it! (Press battle 1 to begin battle with Wind and Fire Dragons, against Dunkelviking's Earth Dragon) (Press the Battle button to begin the battle) Follow the on-screen direction to Drag and drop element onto opponent!) TAP to stop the arrow and attack. Getting in the Green zone gives a perfect hit, but avoid the red zone—that makes you miss! (Finish the battle by defeating the opponent) Ha! You think you've won, girl, but you'll be handing over the Codex after you meet my dangerously malodorous brother Olaf! How many times do I have to tell you? The Dragon Codex is just a legend! Vikings... they never listen. (Claim the Battle rewards given and dismiss the quest completion notice) Nice loot! Now you know how to use the Portal. I think we have an egg ready to hatch soon. Let's return to your island! (Close the Campaign and collect quest rewards) I think you will do great on your own now. Thank you for listening. Before I say goodbye, let me recap: Keep your Breeding Den and Farms busy, explore the Portal, check your Quests and collect awesome Dragons! (Collect the Daily Reward, when the Daily Rewards screen appears) Come back tomorrow for MORE REWARDS! Then visit Dragolandia each day to get other valuable rewards! (Read the What's your name? dialogue that appears) (Select a name option and close the dialogue to begin the game)

Dragon Academy

It's time to rebuild the Academy! Let's start with the Hall of Heroes! (Select the Dragon Academy) (Press the Rebuild button, then select a rebuild cost option to begin rebuilding) (Press the notification to complete the rebuild) (Press the training button) I really have let this place get out of hand... even before the Vikings attacked. I'll tell you about it while we clean it up! You need to assign a dragon to learn skills in the Academy by tapping on any one of them. (Select a Dragon) Your dragon's elements are listed at the top. Select one you'd like to upgrade with a powerful skill! (Select an Element) Wise decision. You've chosen (x Element). As you can see, all skills have 6 levels. The final level is Mastery! You'll need to choose from two very special effects when you reach there! I know, I know, I'm getting ahead of myself. Forgive me. Is that all? Oh, yes! The Scrolls! You need Scrolls to teach skills, and you can collect them in battles. Win 3 stars in battles to recover the Scrolls from the Vikings! That's it, young friend. Now I leave you to explore on your own... and be careful—knowledge is power.

Ancient Portal

The Portal has run out of Energy. Usually, we'd need to wait until it's recharged, or throw some Gems into it to speed up the process. But I've got a few spare Gems this time, so I'll throw them in. If you upgrade the Portal, you can increase its Energy storage so it runs out less frequently.

Battle (System)

From time to time, you can hire your friends' best dragon to help you advance. Get as many friends as you can, but don't worry! Toby of the Swamp can always help you. (Press the Hire button for Toby's Dragon) Note that hiring friends' dragons consumes extra Portal Energy! The Helper Dragon will appear when your first dragon gets defeated. Now let's fight!

Sigil System

Dear Trainer, let me introduce you to the Sigils, powerful artifacts that make your dragons even stronger in battle! Let's peek inside this magnificent tower, and grab your first FREE Sigil Chest right away! (Select the Sigil Tower) (Tap to open the Basic Sigil Chest that appears) Congratulations on getting your first Sigils! Feel free to tap on them to check their awesome power! (Press the Claim" button to claim the chest rewards) Let's equip a Sigil on your most powerful fighter, x Dragon! (Press the Equip Sigil button) Every dragon can have up to two Sigils equipped. Let's pick one for the x dragon right now! (In the first empty Sigil slot, press the Equip Sigil button) Tap on any of the Sigils to check out their benefits at the top. After you've chosen one, tap on Equip to proceed! (Select a sigil, and press the Equip button) (Press the close button to exit the Equip Sigil screen) Awesome! Your x Dragon earned a new combat power granted by that Sigil. Equipping Sigils on your whole battle team will do wonders! All Sigils fall into one of the three schools. Let me explain—please check the Sigil Help at the top! (Press the All Sigils button to view the Sigil Synergies screen) If the dragons in your battle team have several Sigils of the same school, you unlock a team-wide combat bonus called Sigil Synergy. You can always check them here. (Press the close button to exit the Sigil Synergies screen, and then again to exit the Sigil System screen) Check the Sigil Tower every day, so you don't miss any precious Sigil Keys. Grab that one to have a new chest ready to open! (Select the Sigil Key notification, and then the Claim button, to claim the free key) That's all I wanted to tell you about Sigils for now! Mystic Pasture

Thank the gods, you're here! We have spotted a huge, awesome-looking egg at the end of this path! Can you help and guide us towards it? There are some challenges to complete, but I'm sure you can handle them! Cool! First one down, nine more to go. We'll get our hands on that awesome egg in no time! We are halfway there. I wonder how this door ended up here, though... Strange, isn't it? Wow, we're so close now! Just one more push and we all get our well-deserved rewards!
