Thanks for the edits! :) | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / email) 08:46, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing the side-entry to duplicate dragons via codex, it was a great catch, we weren't aware of this change after they overhauled the codex. I added it to Dragons > Duplicates (section). :) | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / email) 21:32, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- No problem. :) In fact if you visit any LTD dragon in wiki, you already mention this except for ancient. for example "Once this Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 4,222 Gems." for Torch Dragon. - That template is @Soukupmi's domain. | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / email) 00:39, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Wiki contributions[edit source]
Hi
It would be great if you could take on some of those tasks here: Regular Updates Needed.
Thanks | -- SoukupMi -- (talk / EMail) 22:26, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Ok perfect, I'll take care of them Suryebamshi1 (talk)
I'll also lookout for the Sale Whale . Suryebamshi1 (talk)
- Thanks Suryebamshi1, much appreciated! :) Feel free to create a Sandbox subpage under your username to play around in too if it's helpful. I tend to muck with templates in mine all the time. If there's anything else you're interested in doing too, please let us know how we can help. :) | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / email) 01:50, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
Sandbox[edit source]
Great job exploring and using templates in your sandbox! You're getting the hang of it and on a roll, keep going heheheheheh. :) Hint for your current sandbox experiment:
(can look at the Events page list for types) |type=Gem Spending (for prize manual override table, last milestone): {{i|Food|i|35}}
Or, if there's a Dragon milestone prize:
|dragon=Axolotl (will override the last milestone)
The easiest way to figure out how to make an event page (my cheat since I don't have them memorized like Soukupmi does lol XD) is to go to the event page category:
Events.
Look for a recent event of the same kind (that is not from a divine/ancient/special event that might have unneeded template overrides), then in the Type column of the Events table, click the event type link to go to its event category (so for gem spending events it would be Gem Spending Events. Once there I open several recent event pages for that type, until I find one that looks like the right config needed for the new event (sometimes the configs are different for some stuff, like gold or food events having vip or not, overrides or not). Then after you find an event that looks like it matches the event config, Edit Source then copy the template code for that event. Change the parameter values to match the current week. Also great to make sure you're not copying manual override stuff that may not need to be manually overridden (e.g., might be done only for a special/ancient/divine event but not for regular events--really hard to tell unless you look at a few event pages in the same category).
A good example is this week's regular gem spending event. At current, it doesn't look like it needs the table stuff below overridden manually (though after the event starts we might find the prizes have changed, so it might, for now I used the standard template). Sometimes there are built-in template parameters to compose event tables too (little bit tricky to tell when, so that's why I tend to compare event pages of the same type, it can be very helpful:
{{EventBox |prize=Nocturne |dragon=Axolotl |type=Gem Spending }}
You're doing great and catching on fast! Well done and thanks for the contributions, they are appreciated! :) | -- CrystalClear -- (talk / email) 18:27, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so so much CrystalClear. It helps me a lot. Suryebamshi1 (talk)
Moderator Promotion[edit source]
Hi Suryebamshi1, the wiki staff has voted for you to be promoted to Moderator to join the staff because we feel you're doing an excellent job! We appreciate your help and contributions, so thank you!
As a moderator your User Rights will be upgraded so you'll be able to edit templates, though for now we ask that Moderators edit only the Main Page templates if these are outdated and need updating (there's notes inside each template to help with updating if/when needed):
- Limited Time Dragons:
{{LTD Countdown}}
- Ongoing Events:
{{Slider}}
- News:
{{News}}
As a moderator you will now see patrol marks for user edits in the recent changes list (an exclamation mark that shows up in the recent beside each edit that has not yet been patrolled by wiki staff) if you're unsure if something is correct enough to mark as patrolled, you can leave this to other mods until you're more comfortable patrolling. You should be able to see more stuff in the Special Pages list, especially All Comments (that normally show at the bottom of pages--the link provided is an admin list of all comments) which you can help to answer or edit (and/or remove inappropriate comments). You can also answer questions located at Guide:Wiki Support.
In addition you now have privileges to delete/move (renaming is moving) pages.
