Description
The body style of the Wind-Up Dragon is saurian. It is bright yellow in color with a white underbelly and two brightly colored red with white wings. It has two blue horns the red inserts, bright blue eyes, a red nose and white jaw. It also has three circular spikes, each of a different color, that part through the middle of its head. These spikes continue to run down its back, which is met a the end by a blue wind-up key. The wings are red with white. This Dragon's playful coloration and mechanical lines of articulation resemble tin wind-up toys, which were popular children's toys in many parts of the world up until the 1960's. When the Wind-Up Dragon is (still) a baby, they have wheels instead of legs. The wind-up key is then atop of their back. Only the green spike on their head is visible. The tail has three coloured rings and ends in a red ball. As baby the Dragon does not have wings.

Obtaining
The Wind-Up Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.
Once the Wind-Up Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,750 Gems.
Breeding for this Dragon takes 20 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 1 day, 2 hours and 40 minutes. With an active VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 16 hours while the hatching time is reduced to 21 hours and 20 minutes.
Limited Breeding
During the time the Wind-Up Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.
