• {{template|note}} gives: {{note}}
• {{template|note|override text}} gives: {{override text}}

Links to a template in the "Template:" namespace, with just the name provided. Displays the template name in (escaped) curly braces, {{ and }}, without displaying the template itself. Also auto-displays the result in <code></code> (code) formatting. Syntax: {{template|MyTemplate}} or {{template|MyTemplate|Override link text}}
