VIP Status , also called VIP Membership, is an elevated status providing certain bonuses when active. VIP Level 1 is free, and while lower VIP Levels can be obtained by free VIP Points earned daily, higher levels generally require spending real money to obtain Gems, which elevates VIP Level at certain thresholds.
Status
VIP Status Trainer's avatar in various in-game locations, if active. Those with an active VIP Status have a purple background on friend lists and various rankings, while those without have a dark gray background.

VIP Status is activated by using VIP Tickets, 1 ticket provides 24 hours of status benefits, and tickets are earned in events and by buying VIP Ticket Packages using Gems. Once activated, the time left until VIP Status ends immediately appears in the overall count at the top of the main screen.
Seven days of free VIP Status is also activated on the Trainer's first in-game purchase, using real money. The Get VIP button displays on features that require VIP to use, such as the Gold Vault.

Benefits Interface
On the main screen, pressing VIP Status
opens the VIP benefits interface, displaying different sections.Top Section
The top section displays the current VIP Level before a progress bar showing the number of points accrued, separated by a slash from the total number required to reach the next level. Other buttons include:
- + More button – opens the VIP Shop, to the VIP Points section, where points are bought for Gems.
- Free VIP Points – opens the interface to claim points (if unclaimed).
- Free VIP Points (Claimed) – displays a "come back tomorrow" notice.
- A small, vertical counter, indicating VIP Login Modifier level.
- ? Information button – displays basic VIP information.
- x Close button – closes the interface.
Middle Section
A header appears above the scrollable middle section, the header shows the prior, current, and next VIP levels, with levels not yet reached displaying locked. The button appears after scrolling away from the current level, and when pressed, returns the display to the current level.
Pressing the or buttons scrolls the benefits for each VIP level. The left lists VIP Level benefits, while the right displays the daily VIP Reward Chest , and the VIP Offer Chest for that level.
Bottom Section
Along the bottom appears:
- A countdown timer if VIP is active, or VIP disabled if inactive.
- The Extend VIP button if active, or the Activate VIP button if inactive. Either option opens the VIP Shop to the VIP Tickets section, to buy VIP tickets, even if VIP tickets are in the Inventory.
- The VIP Shop button, to open the shop.
Free VIP Points
Regardless of VIP status (active or not), a certain amount of free VIP Points can be claimed per day, by pressing the Free VIP Points gift box, in the VIP Status interface. Upon pressing it, the dialog shows today's points claimed, as well as tomorrow's reward which is based on a Login Modifier. The modifier increases the amount of points earned each consecutive day that free points are claimed, up to a maximum of 4 times, up to the 12 point maximum. The Continue button is pressed to close the dialog.

VIP Reward Chest
Every day that VIP Status is active, a daily VIP Reward Chest can be claimed. The prizes contained inside depend on current VIP Level, and pressing the i button displays the chest contents for that level.
VIP Offer Chest
The VIP Offer Chest provides offers for purchase, that must be purchased using real money, for various prizes. Pressing the i button displays the chest contents for the current VIP Level, though the price is only displayed for the current VIP Level. Each offer can only be purchased once per VIP Level.

Expiration
When VIP Status expires, a window appears notifying of its expiry. The Buy VIP Ticket button can be pressed, which opens the VIP Tickets section of the VIP Shop to purchase tickets that are immediately used to extend VIP Status.
VIP Levels
VIP Level is indicated by the number in the middle of its icon, which also displays publicly in leaderboards and other places, depending on VIP Settings. There are 25 VIP Levels, and the only method to reach a higher level is by purchasing Gems in exchange for real currency. Once a VIP Level is obtained, it is permanent, regardless if the membership expires and is later renewed. Trainers can their VIP Level wherever their VIP Status is displayed to other Trainers (as noted above).
Whenever a new VIP Level is reached a VIP Ticket is given, which goes to Inventory.
Hiding VIP Level
VIP Level is hidden from other Trainers by opening the VIP Status interface, scrolling to the bottom of the current level's benefits list, and toggling the On button to the Off position.
Level Cost
Each level requires a minimum number of Gems to be purchased to reach that level from the previous one. For example, a VIP Level 3 Trainer needs to purchase 55 Gems to reach VIP Level 4, while the cumulative cost of Levels 1-4 is added together is 100 Gems.

Time Conversion Table (up to lvl 20)
When breeding or hatching a Dragon, the game displays only the first two highest units of time. Up to level 20 time can be converted to and from VIP Status time using one of the following formulas:
- (VIP Hours * 60 + VIP Minutes) * 1.25 = Non VIP Minutes
- (Non VIP Hours * 60 + Non VIP Minutes) * 0.8 = VIP Minutes

- Update 8.1: Revamped the VIP interface as a hub for multiple functions.
- Added 5 new VIP Levels, raising maximum VIP Level from 20 to 25, and extending the cumulative total cost to maximum VIP Level from 95,000, to 240,000 Gems.
- Introduced free daily VIP Points, a small amount of points collectible daily (regardless of VIP status being active or not). The amount of which increases up to 4x if a consecutive collection "streak" occurs (1, 3, 5, 8, 12).
- Added a Daily VIP Reward Chest, claimable only with active VIP Status, giving prizes dependent on VIP Level (which could include Gold, Food, Stepping Stones, and Gems). Also added a VIP Offer Chest, purchasable for real money.
- Added a 20% Food production bonus for Trainers of VIP Level 10 and above.
- Added a Stepping Stones bonus at VIP Level 15 of 20% which increases for higher levels.
- Moved the option to hide VIP Level to the bottom of the current level's benefits list.
- Update 8.0: Added benefit notices to multiple areas of the game where the benefits affected rewards given.
- Update 6.2: Changed VIP benefits for Arena Energy to match the updated balancing of Dragon League when merged with Enchantment League.
- Update 3.2: Revamped VIP Levels to expand from 12 to 20. See update page for details.
- Added 8 new VIP Levels and made significant changes to unlockable items and rewards given for each level, see Update 3.2 for the old table.
- Increased keys given for higher VIP levels.
- Update 3.0: Updated the benefits screen to display the Gold Vault as available to all Trainers within the same update.
