Technical Roles (Staff)

"Staff" members are regular players with editing and managing rights to keep the wiki current, orderly, and running smoothly. These users are not Gameloft staff, they are players who give their spare time freely (when available) to update the wiki.

General Rights Descriptions

Role Group	Icon	Rights and Duties
Bureaucrats		Policymakers who grant or revoke user rights, rename accounts, suppress inappropriate revisions, view certain logs, create advanced templates, do routine editing, and help maintain wiki well-being. These members are appointed to fulfill (or give input or advice on) specific technical roles, have done so for long periods, or have advanced knowledge of MediaWiki or its extensions for technical wiki functions. Bureaucrats also have below roles.
Administrators		Design and change wiki pages or layouts, protect or unprotect pages, delete or undelete pages, create templates, block or unblock vandals, perform routine edits, and help keeping the wiki orderly. Administrators also have below roles.
Moderators		Manage and monitor comments and edits, flag or remove inappropriate content, and routine editing.

Community Roles & Rewards

Most users fall into a Community Role (from the larger DML community). These users perform routine or semi-routine editing tasks such as inputting dragons, updating or creating event pages, flagging articles for review, editing, proofreading etc. Some members of the below groups are eligible for nomination to earn in-game rewards, for valued contributions (see the Important Notes section below).

If there are specific tasks they'd like to do regularly that meet wiki needs (see Editing Central for current list of needs). If approved, some roles may be eligible for one-time, occasional, or regular in-game reward nominations.
• The roles and rewards may be added to, changed or be removed at any time, without notice.
• Wiki Staff do not control, authorize, or distribute in-game rewards, only Gameloft does. Wiki Staff may only put forward nominations for in-game rewards for Gameloft's review, approval (usually the case), and distribution; thus, wiki staff/members can offer no assurances or guarantees whatsoever relating to in-game rewards and are not responsible or liable in any way for them.
