Beach Day Dragon's (sun)glasses

Hi LoriN! First of all, I wanted to thank you for proofreading all the Dragon descriptions I've written. It helps me out a ton, so thanks!

On the Beach Day Dragon's description, I noticed you corrected that the Dragon wore sunglasses instead of regular glasses. That's exactly what I thought at first when I looked at this Dragon; with all that beach attire aesthetic, sunglasses would make a LOT more sense for it than regular eyeglasses. But real sunglasses have dark lenses, while this Dragon's glasses have light baby-blue lenses. That's why I think this Dragon is actually wearing plain old glasses, even though it doesn't make sense and is a seriously missed design opportunity in my opinion.

What do you think about this? Should the description change back to "glasses" for accuracy, or should it stay as "sunglasses" to keep the beach aesthetic intact? Shusserata (talk) 17:26, 1 September 2023 (PDT)

Hey there, Shusserata! First and foremost, I seriously can't thank you enough for taking on this project! I know it is a huge endeavor, but you are plowing through it beautifully. Please do not ever take any of my edits as discouraging -- you are doing a brilliant job with them. With Dragon descriptions, much of it is interpretive and what one sees, others may see a little differently. Neither is wrong!
As for glasses versus sunglasses -- yeah, I totally see what you mean and were thinking. There are, however, some sunglasses with blue, reflective lenses. Think of the poster for the movie "Almost Famous" (if you've ever heard of it). On the poster cover, Kate Hudson is wearing a pair of sunglasses that look very similar to the ones that I envision the Beach Dragon wearing. Because of this, I think we are okay with staying with the beach theme.
I love that you came to my talk page to ask me about this! If you ever have questions about why something was changed or how to do something, this is the way to do it. I appreciate your feedback as much as the work you are doing on the wiki. LoriN (talk) 18:28, 1 September 2023 (PDT)

Just a note

Just a note to express again (as I think it's important to say) thank you for all the great work you do, it's massively appreciated by all! Cheers! | -- CrystalClear -- (talk) 09:44, 10 October 2023 (PDT)

Oh, PS. Love the green on your talk header section with Pixie Dragon! lol :D
