The following:
{{BreedingChain | element1=Water | element2=Unknown | element3=Metal | element4=Unknown | child=Mercury | special={{nb}} | parent3=Lava | prize=Red Scale}}
{{{condition}}}
has intentionally been made mandatory. If {{{condition}}}
is not present, it complains in bold about the parameter that needs filling, as demonstrated below!Gives:
Requirements
The first pair of the chain requires breeding any two Dragons where the first has the Water (and any other) Element, and the second has the Metal (and any other) Element, to obtain the Mercury Dragon.The second combination requires breeding the Mercury Dragon with the Lava Dragon, the latter of which can be bred under normal conditions.
Once a successful breeding attempt is made, the Red Scale Dragon's egg appears between both parents in the Breeding Den. Hatching the prize Dragon is not required during the event, as the breeding result is determined when breeding begins.

{{TreeArrow}}
, the template used by this one for the tree lines and arrow.
Generates a Breeding Chain "Requirements" section and table, used on Chain Breeding Event pages. Either specify parents for the first child or the elements required. ---- Elements specified MUST be specified at the top of the chain (i.e., DOTM parents at top, its offspring as {{{child}}}, and subsequent parents beginning at {{{parent3}}}. ---- Parent numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 refer to vertical table position, this is not the case with elements that always appear in cells 1 and 2 vertically. If the second child has given parents, those must be specified in "parent3" and "parent4"; use "child2" for second child. ---- The "special" parameter belongs to "child", it overrides the auto-generated link if incorrect (example - Normally Bred vs DOTW). The "condition" parameter belongs to "parent3" or "child2" and is mandatory. For "condition" specify {{eod}} ONLY for dragons available via Limited Breeding-only, which don't have event pages. ---- For breeding a dual Dragon (dragons with incompatible/opposing elements like Sunflower, Mercury, Magnet etc.), enter one of its elements for each parent, but set each parent's second element as "Unknown". ---- When "child" is a DOTM, for the parents, always use the required elements needed to acquire the Dragon, NOT the two Dragons that Gameloft recommends in the in-game graphic.
Parameter | Description | Type | Status | |
---|---|---|---|---|
parent1 (without 'Dragon') | parent1 | Enter the name of parent 1, or if the first parent name isn't specified, leave this blank. In case BOTH parents of the prize dragon are event dragons, set this to "none".
| String | optional |
parent2 (without 'Dragon') | parent2 | Enter the name of parent 2, unless the 2nd parent name isn't given (in which case enter the parent 2 elements in 'Element 3' and 'Element 4' instead).
| String | optional |
child (1, without 'Dragon') | child | Enter the name of the first offspring dragon. Note: P1+P2 = Child 1.
| String | required |
special (child, Override) | special | If the "child" (first child) link is incorrect, please specify a value from the suggested values list. Note: There should be only one value, no stray/extra text, no override text, no section-specific links, just a direct link to the event page (that already has the date in it), or a template as shown below, otherwise leave this blank. If two events are required to get a dragon (such as in Castle events) put the last castle event name.
| String | optional |
parent3 (without 'Dragon') | parent3 | Enter the name of parent 3, or if the third parent isn't specified, leave this blank. Note: C1+P3 = Prize Dragon; OR, P3+P4 = Child 2.

Note: There should be only one value, no stray/extra text, no override text, no section-specific links, just a direct link to the event page (that already has the date in it), or a template as shown below, otherwise leave this blank. If two events are required to get a dragon (such as in Castle events) put the last castle event name.
| String | required |
