Obstacles are objects on islands that block the way and hinder building; thus must be cleared to use the space they occupy.
Characteristics
The obstacles encountered on each Island are different, and they come in three different sizes. Clearing and removal of obstacles cannot occur until the associated island is owned. Obstacles have varied costs to begin clearing, clearing time required before removal, and amount of Experience gained from removal.
Moving
Unlike Decorations, obstacles cannot be moved, they are fixed in place until cleared. However, some obstacles also act as purchasable and movable decorations that are available in the Main Shop or Dungeon Shop once Player Level 10 is reached. An obstacle's decoration form can be bought from the shop even if its counterpart obstacle has not been cleared.
Clearing Obstacles
An obstacle is cleared by selecting it, then pressing the 
button. The requisite clearing time must elapse, or it can be sped up with Gems by pressing the 
Speed up button and then the Skip All 
Skip All button. When the requisite time has elapsed, an 
Experience icon appears over the obstacle, pressing it completes the process, removes the obstacle, and collects the predetermined amount of experience. Occasionally, the 
may appear above an obstacle, offering an ad video to be watched in exchange for a 30-minute time reduction.
