Category:Divine Islands
From Dragon Mania Legends (DML) Wiki
A Divine Island is a small, sea-floating structure that only appears south of the Main Island during special, multi-event experiences. During the events (most of which occurred in the past), the island became the epicenter of multiple limited-time events that used Divine Thematics borrowing elements from mythology.
Each Divine event had a distinct type of Divine Chest, Divine Ticket, and (purchasable) Divine Ticket Generator isolated to that event. Divine Chests were mystical boxes, filled with various resources and specific Dragon Pieces, which could only be opened through the use of the associated Divine Tickets. Divine Tickets had to be (and must during an ongoing event) used to open the corresponding Divine Chest before the Divine event ended, as both disappeared at the event end.
Opportunities to obtain certain Divine Dragons are what set Divine Island events apart from other events. During the visibility of the island, specific Divine Dragons could be obtained by completing rooms in Castle Events, by opening chests, by completing other events, by breeding, and by opening Divine Chests.

Returns/Repeats
After the initial event series ended, several islands and/or themes returned, or were expanded. Each Divine event had a distinct type of Divine Chest, Divine Ticket, and (purchasable) Divine Ticket Generator. Divine Chests were mystical boxes, filled with various resources and specific Dragon Pieces, that could only be opened by using its associated Divine Tickets. Divine Tickets had to be used to open the corresponding Divine Chest before the event ended. These events were approximately a month-long:

Mini Events
These "mini" events may have had reused elements or themes from other events, were associated with an island, and were shorter in duration (or offered less events) than the major month-long events:

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 Though this event was announced as a Mini Divine Event, parts were configured as a two-part (regular/full-length) Event typically was, which had parts/chapters with matching assets. This Event has two Castle Event parts without corresponding assets and two sets of prizes, though the status of some remaining features is unclear. Clan events also appear to have been paused for three weeks to accommodate long Castle durations in such a short Event.
- ↑ Due to unusual config, it is unknown if the second island will appear as expected for two-part events.
- ↑ Due to unusual config, the Event Badge did not function as expected for two-part castle events. It is unknown if the Badge will appear or be obtainable again in the second Castle Event.
- ↑ Due to unusual config, no second chest or second set of chest rewards appeared as expected for two-part events.
- ↑ 5.0 5.1 Due to unusual config, no second set of tickets appeared as expected for two-part events.
- ↑ Due to unusual config, it is unknown if the second shrine and matched currency will appear as expected for two-part events.
Non-Island Divine Events
These "mini" Divine events were associated with an occasion rather than a theme, though they may have reused elements from the above (or other island event) events. These events were also shorter than the major month-long events. Typically, these were not associated with an island, but had a similar event setup, similar mechanics, and the same limited-time button for accessing the event; as such, they and have been included here for convenience and comparison:

Divine Chest
The Divine Chest button allowed the Trainer to access the Chest Room, where Tickets could be exchanged to open Divine Chests. The Divine Chest button itself typically displayed the chest and/or the main reward Dragon. In the top corner was a i or button that could be pressed to display all possible rewards held in Divine Chests. It also displayed the number of items awarded for each chest opened, and the information cards also displayed a i button that could be used to bring up the awarding stats.
Interface
The interface of each Divine Island was composed of several buttons, each of which lead to a specific area, or related to the island itself. The interface and the appearance of its associated buttons changed when each part or chapter changed, in accordance with its specific ongoing events. Though their appearance was different, some buttons had the same function across islands, while others lead to an area or event specific to that island.
Event Timeline
The Event Timeline button (if available) provided the official island schedule when pressed, which displayed information about all parts/chapters in the Divine event. The island schedule could also be accessed through the News Menu. If the button was present in the last part/chapter, pressing it took the Trainer to the main interface of the News menu.
Collection
The Collection button (if available) accessed the ongoing Collection Event. If there was more than one ongoing event, then the event for the prize Dragon featured on the button was accessed. The option had the same function as accessing the event through its banner from the list of current events. The button also displayed the time until the event ended.
Enter the Divine Castle
The Enter the Divine Castle button accessed the current Castle Event. This option had the same function as accessing the event through its banner from the list of current events. The button typically displayed a castle background and/or Dragon, and the time left until the event ended.
Shop
The Shop button (if present), provided access to options for special offers (or similarly named promotions), Event Currency (offers for limited currency), Divine Tickets (if made purchasable), and sometimes a Shrine for purchase.
Special Offers
The Special Offers (or similarly named) button accessed the list of promotions and had the same function as accessing the promotions through the Main Shop button or the currency-purchasing window using the button on the main screen.
Event Currency
The event currency button provided offers for limited time In-Game Currency and/or the associated shrine where applicable.
Divine Ticket
The Divine button provided offers to purchase Divine Tickets in exchange for Gems.
Milestones
The Milestones button (if available) allowed the Milestone Rewards section to be accessed directly to view progress rewards, and displayed the currency generator associated with the event.
Premium milestone rewards were activated only through the purchase of the event's currency generator. Once activated, additional Milestone Rewards become available.
Challenge Bosses
The Challenge Bosses button (if it was available) accessed whichever Relay Event was occurring at the time. This option had the same function as accessing the event through its banner from the list of current events. The Divine Ticket representative to the current island or part/chapter displayed in the top-right corner.
Ticket Generators
Ticket Generators are small structures with limited functionality. Each generator gave a set ticket amount upon purchase and generated tickets at a different rate per hour. Ticket generators also had a set holding capacity that varied between events.
A icon appeared above the structure when it had accumulated at least 30% of its capacity, while a
icon appeared when it was at 100% capacity. Both icons displayed the type of ticket generated by the building, and tapping it collected the tickets. Tickets could also be collected by pressing the
button after the structure was selected, or by pressing the Collect button from the information screen that appeared through the
option.
Each generator cost real money in USD, was built instantly, yielded no experience points, and had a size of 2x2 squares. Generators could not be sold, but could be stored in inventory . While Trainers could buy more than one generator of a different type, the same generator could be purchased only once.
Ticket Generators were only functional during the time their associated Divine Chest could be accessed, after which they turned into regular Decorations. Once a Ticket Generator became a decoration, it still could not/cannot be sold, and can only be stored in inventory. Selecting the generator and pressing the button provides a description of it.
