Description

The Body Shape of the Terracotta Dragon is Ursine. Its head, arms, and wings are chocolate-brown, while the rest of its body is dark brown and etched with a grid-like design. Its chocolate-brown horns curve softly, and three parallel grooves are etched on them. The horns share the same base, which is a black, round insignia that is rimmed in red. The insignia displays the green letters "T" and "C" from top to bottom, possibly standing for "terracotta". A red plate is behind the horns, with a red and green Yin and Yang symbol displayed on it. The plate ends with a light green, jagged edge. A rectangular ridge extends beneath each horn, while a mustache with three grooves sprouts from the nose-like snout. The eyes show brown irises and jade-green sclera, and a small goatee extends from the chin. The Terracotta Dragon's shoulders are covered in three rectangular, parallel plates that are attached by two bands and three nails on each band. This plating may be a reference to lamellar armor. Its arms show several fabric-like fold marks, and three jade-green claws extend from each hand. Two pairs of wings appear behind the back, they show dark brown, ridged membranes. The upper pair of wings is larger, and each of these wings shows craggy, green shards that resemble crystals. The three shards that are on the left of the long apex are light green, while the shards on the right are jade-green. Three triangular, jade-green shards jut down the back. The Dragon's light-brown legs show two parallel, curving stripes that are of a darker brown. Each of the chocolate-brown feet shows three ridges, along with three jade-green claws and a matching dewclaw. The tail shows several rounded scales, along with three blunt, jade-green shards and a metallic ridge around the tip. The Dragon is based on one of the many sculptures found in the Chinese Terracotta Army.
