Description
The Body Shape of the Prickly Pear Dragon is Finned. Its body is colored in green, with stripes of a darker color and white thorns scattered across it. Its head features a crown of dark green, soft ridges behind it, along with two similar, triangular ridges on the forehead. A flower sits on its head on the side, displaying vibrant pink petals and a ring of small, yellow spots in the middle, surrounding a cluster of pink beads of various sizes. The Dragon has lilac eyes, along with cheeks of a similar color, and a slightly jagged grin. Its torso displays dark green plates, and on its back are two pairs of pads that act as wings, similar to the ones found on a prickly pear cactus, the plant the Dragon is named after. The upper pad features four thorns and four prickly pears that display pink, round thorns, while the lower pad is smaller, has a single thorn, and lacks pears. The front flippers have three thorns, while the hind flippers only feature two of them. Four prickly pears grow on its tail tip.

Obtaining
The Prickly Pear Dragon is an Event-Only Dragon which can be obtained most frequently through one or more of the various events within the realm of Dragolandia.
Once the Prickly Pear Dragon is obtained and then subsequently housed on an island, duplicate eggs can be purchased through the Dragon Codex in exchange for 1,511 
Gems.
Breeding for this Dragon takes 16 hours while incubating and subsequently hatching the resultant egg takes 23 hours and 30 minutes. With an active VIP Status of Level 2 or higher, the breeding time is reduced to 12 hours and 48 minutes while the hatching time is reduced to 18 hours and 48 minutes.
Limited Breeding
During the time the Prickly Pear Dragon is temporarily breedable, it can be bought in exchange for Gems without prior presence on the islands.
Tokens
If a Breeding Token is made available for this Dragon, it is activated instantly upon being received, after which the Dragon can be obtained through the breeding of two Dragons having together the Plant, Fire and Wind Elements. This method requires the Trainer to have reached Level 11.
